The Electrical Contractors
Trust of Alameda County underwrites the registration
costs for up to two employers per contributing
firm to attend educational workshops sponsored
by the Northern California Chapter, NECA and
other educational vendors. The Trustees feel that
continued education for management and field employees
keeps the union electrical industry viable and
give a competitive edge to the companies who emphasize
its importance. During the last year, the
Trust has underwritten the costs for employees
of contributing firms to attend the following
seminars:
- Project Management
- Measure Your Business
- Mechanics Lien Law
- Cumulative Impact of Change Orders
- Basic and Advanced Estimating
- Successfully Managing VDV Projects
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Estimating Basic Structured Cabling
- Interviewing and Hiring Protocol
- Alternative Dispute Resolution for Electrical
Contractors
